The third annual DRI Golf Tournament, Where Environment Meets Recreation, was held at Red Hawk Gold Club August 20-21. The event raised over $41,000 for the Institute's Northern Nevada Science Center Phase II Campaign, an increase of more than $15,000 from the 1998 tournament.
"Every year we grow," noted Kiemmy Boc, event organizer. She characterized the tournament as "the best ever, thanks to our sponsors, golfers, and donors."
